The company is the only manufacturer of sodium tri poly phosphate (STPP) in Egypt with a production capacity of 24,000 TPA. Over half of its production of STPP is sold to manufacturers of ceramic tiles in Egypt, with the balance going to leading detergent producers, which includes various multinationals.

ICC's manufacturing facilities are located in the industrial area of Suez while the sales and marketing office is based in Cairo. The company has recently expanded its raw material storage capacity by building three new storage tanks in the Adabiya Port of Suez, enhancing its storage capacity to approximately 3,600 tonnes.

In order to make its product more competitive, the company has invested in a new purification plant at a cost of approximately US$2.5 million. This plant has greatly increased ICC's competitiveness in local and international markets.

The company employs over 150 dedicated and professional employees most of whom have been with the company since its incorporation more than ten years ago.

Company milestones

• ICC was incorporated in 1996 with commercial production of STPP starting a year later.

• In 2006 a new purification plant was commissioned to enable the use of Green phosphoric acid in addition to Technical Grade in production.
