Chairman
Tucker has wide management experience in the oil and gas, financial services and real estate sectors as a Managing Director, Company President, Chief Operating Officer and as a Consultant. He is responsible for the definition and execution of the business strategy of Knightsbridge Chemicals Limited (KCL) designed to maximise shareholder value through superior financial performance. He is also responsible for building long-term relationships with partners, host governments and key suppliers.
Amar Hameed
Deputy Chairman & CEO
Amar has served as the chief executive of various companies which are now subsidiaries of KCL. Prior to 1997, he was the Sales & Marketing Director of Celanese Pakistan Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoechst A.G.). Before joining the chemical industry in 1989, he spent ten years in banking, first with Fidelity Bank in London and then with National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia. After receiving a B.Sc. (Hons.) from the London School of Economics, he spent his early career with Touche Ross and with Whitbread London Limited.
Eric T. Link
Chief Operating Officer
Currently Mr. Link oversees the daily operations of Knightsbridge Chemicals Limited. He also assists in strategic planning and the execution of the corporate vision and objectives. Prior to joining Knightsbridge Chemicals Limited, Mr. Link worked in Investment Banking as a Director with Barclays Capital in New York. He also served as an Associate in the Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Group with J.P. Morgan Chase in New York. Mr. Link has over 10 years of experience in banking, financial services and real estate with emphasis in operations, finance, underwriting, asset management and securitization. Mr. Link holds a B.S., Finance from Southern Methodist University.
Robert A. Scott
Director
Currently on the Board of Directors of Knightsbridge Chemicals Limited, Bob is also the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Managers of Knightsbridge Biofuels LLC and Ecogy Biofuels LLC. Mr. Scott oversees the daily operations of the biofuels companies including the finance and treasury functions. He also assists in strategic planning and the execution of their corporate vision and objectives. Prior to joining the Knightsbridge group, Mr. Scott worked on a special program for the Department of Homeland Security (TSA) as the Director of Secure Flight Program Operations. Mr. Scott has held CEO, COO, CFO and director positions in the banking, financial services and technology industries. He is an excellent manager of people and projects and a dedicated team leader. Mr. Scott holds an M.B.A. and B.A. Psychology from the University of Arkansas.
George Rapport
Director
George was previously a managing director at the Chase Manhattan Bank. Of his 33 years at Chase, 17 were spent in various positions in oil and gas corporate finance in Paris, London, and New York. He also managed relationships with major U .S .and European multinational oil companies as well as with U.S. independents.
Javed Ansari
CEO, Industrial Chemicals & Resins Co. LLC (ICR)
Javed, an engineer by education, brings in a wealth of over thirty years of diversified experience in steel, power, petrochemicals, and foods businesses. While associated with Hoechst Ravi Chemicals Limited, Lahore as head of engineering, he built and commissioned the PA/MA/DOP plants of the company: now Nimir Chemicals Pakistan Ltd. (NCPL). He has not only attended numerous national & international courses, conferences and seminars but has also held key management positions in the organizations he has been associated with. Before joining ICR he was the Vice President of edible oil business operations at “Al Ghurair Foods" - one of the biggest business houses of UAE, and has the privilege of building and operating the biggest Soybean / Canola Crushing & Oil Extraction plant of the region.
Zafar Qidwai
CEO, Nimir Speciality Chemicals, FZE (NSC)
Zafar studied in the Netherlands and qualified in Commerce and Marketing. He has considerable experience working for a variety of multinational companies, including Hoechst, in their cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals and petrochemicals businesses. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Nimir Resins Limited for two years and his last assignment before joining NSC was as Director Business Development for the Nimir Group in Pakistan including liaison with government departments.
Tim Chapman
CEO, International Chemicals Company SAE, (ICC)
Tim joined ICC from Du Pont, a World Leader in Science with a global reputation for Safety and Ethical Corporate governance. He has successfully developed business in regional growth sectors such as health, food, construction and biosecurity from his former Dubai base. In addition to Egypt and the UAE, Tim has also managed a Telecoms business in Kuwait and established a joint venture in India to supply industrial printing equipment to the major users of product Identification technology. Tim is a former Director of Domino Printech India Ltd and Domino Coding & Marking, Australia and has nearly 30 years combined experience in Manufacturing, Materials Management, Systems, Sales and Commercial issues with 9 years living in the Middle East.
Jalil Jamil
CEO, Nimir Chemicals Pakistan Limited (NCPL)
Jalil played an instrumental role in the establishment of NCPL. As a former director of operations for a global shipping company in London and for the Ravi Chemicals Group in Pakistan, he brings with him a wealth of experience in logistics, management and marketing.
Zafar Mahmood
Chief Financial Officer, Nimir Chemicals Pakistan
In 1995 Zafar joined the Nimir Group in Pakistan. He is a cost and management accountant by qualification and has 15 years of experience in various areas of finance and accounts in multinational environments. Before joining Nimir he was with Hoechst Pakistan.
Muazam Chaudhry
Group Financial Controller, Knightsbridge Chemicals Limited
Muazam joined KCL in October 2007. Before joining KCL group, he has worked with Coopers & Lybrand in London, England as management consultant. As a contract Controller, he has managed large finance & accounting departments for United Nations, ICI Pakistan and FMC Philadelphia. Muazam has also worked as group financial controller for Skylink Group in Toronto and then for Toronto Stock Exchange in Regulatory Compliance Division, following that Supreme Foodservice KG, Dubai, as head of finance department. He has over 15 years experience in financial & treasury management, auditing & regulatory compliance, accounting internal control systems and management consultancy with multinational organizations in the UK, USA, Canada, and South & Middle East countries. Muazam has done multiple on-job professional courses following his B.Com degree, Accountancy Foundation – Bristol University, UK, ACA - ICAE&W, UK and CPA - Delaware State, USA.
Javed Salim Arif
Group Internal Auditor, Knightsbridge Chemicals Limited
A Master of Business Administration (Finance), Javed has been associated with the group since 1994 and became the Internal Auditor in 2003. He has contributed to the performance of Nimir Pakistan and has wide experience in various financial and administrative aspects of the company, having held the position of Finance and Administration Director of NCPL and NICL before becoming the Group Internal Auditor.
