Located in the Hamriyah Free Zone of Sharjah, UAE, NSC commenced business in 2004. The plant is equipped with the latest technology to produce speciality chemicals for various industries such as fibreglass, textiles, water-treatment, paints and coatings. The state-of-the-art plant, quality control and application laboratories are geared to offer consistent high value products to customers. The research and development department is focused on producing customised products as well as technical assistance and after-sales services to its customers in the UAE and neighbouring countries.

NSC produces unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) mainly targeted at glass reinforced pipe manufacturers, boat builders and various architectural applications. Coating emulsions and additives are aimed at water-based paint producers. They provide better hiding power, scrub-resistance and gloss to interior and exterior paints. The broad range of textile speciality chemicals are targeted at composite units of the textile sector as they offer products for sizing, pre-treatment, dyeing, printing and finishing of woven fabrics.
 
   

NSC's products are approved and accredited by local and international certifying agencies such as the Abu Dhabi Municipality and Lloyd's of London. The company is also actively pursuing WRAS (Water Regulatory Advisory Scheme) Certification so that it can target European markets.

Within a short period of time, NSC has exported its products to 18 countries in Europe, Africa, the Far East and the Subcontinent.

In order to keep pace with its rapid sales growth, NSC has recently completed the expansion of its coating and textile divisions. Capacity has increased to 15,000 TPA and NSC is also planning to expand UPR production by 25,000 TPA. In addition to the plant expansion, the research and development department has been allocated a budget to improve the application laboratory and target the paint and textile industries.

Due to the focused team work and dedication of its employees, NSC will soon emerge as one of the main players in the chemical business of the region. The company currently employs 52 highly qualified personnel.
